The Cardinal Ramblers Recreation Vehicle (RV) Club is a local chapter of the Holiday Ramblers Recreation Vehicle Club (HRRVC). The purpose of this non-profit club is to provide Saint Louis area Holiday Rambler RV owners year round opportunities for the enjoyment of good fellowship and pleasant use of their RV's.

Who We Are

    Cardinal Ramblers, Chapter 174, is one of the Missouri chapters making up Region V of the National Holiday Ramblers Recreational Vehicle Club (HRRVC).

     Providing enjoyable experiences in camping, traveling, and rallying as a group of friends is our purpose and goal.

     The Cardinals membership roster is more than 35 RV units strong and growing. Although most of Chapter 174’s members live in the greater St Louis metro area, membership is widespread from Hannibal MO in the north to Perryville MO in the south.

     Some members have been part of Chapter 174 since its charter in 1972 and some have just recently joined. Dues are very reasonable for what you receive in return; just $15 per year payable November 1^st. New members joining after January 1 enjoy free chapter membership until time to pay the next years dues.

     Won’t you join us for some enjoyable camping experiences? We would love to have you as part of Chapter 174, the Cardinal Ramblers.

What We Do,
Where We Go

    The Cardinal Ramblers is a very active chapter with something planned each month, even during wintertime.

     During spring, summer and fall months our campouts are usually the 3^rd weekend of the month; a few trips are planned for a week or longer. Our State Rally is held the 1^st week of June and the International Rally is in July. Each November is the Cardinal Christmas party, a very nice occasion and a restaurant gathering not to be missed. In winter months we enjoy a monthly luncheon at a local restaurant.

     Volunteer “wagonmasters” head up our camping trips, making campground reservations, choosing restaurants and potluck meals and furnishing information about activities in the area.

   Cardinal members can participate in as many outings as they choose. Some require advanced reservations and these are noted in the monthly newsletter and at chapter meetings.

     Destinations of camping trips are determined by the chapter members; recent campouts have been to Danville, Hannibal, Jackson, Osage Beach, St James and Villa Ridge MO and to Springfield, IL.

     So how about filling your motorhome or tow vehicle with fuel and joining us for some fun times!
